Bravo! Classes

Our Bravo! program is a great place for children who love to move their body and sing in front of an audience! We offer a 90-minute exploratory experience that teaches aspects of vocal, dance and stage performance. 

Class Time - Class meets each Tuesday from 4:15 - 5:45 pm. (Additional class may be offered at an earlier time if enrollment requests exceeds expectations)

There are NO classes on holidays or school breaks during the semester

Tuition - $250 per semester - Class t-shirt included. Multiple child discount available

Location - Central Church - 1124 Stevens Drive, Richland { NOTE: NEW LOCATION)

Class Information: You will receive an email outlining the season schedule, drop-off and pick-up directions as well as additional details of the season shortly before classes begin.

Note: Each performer will receive ONE free ticket voucher to attend the entire Forte! show with ONE additional ticket voucher per family. If there are additional family members who wish attend the entire Forte! show, then you may purchase tickets at www.yourtcyc.com Temporary seating vouchers will be provided for families intending to watch the Bravo! opening performance portion only.

About Our Classes and What We Offer

For 6, 7 & 8 year old’s, we use interactive games to teach the basics of: beat, pitch matching, supported breathing and exploring their singing voice, along with body movements and basic dance steps coordinated with rhythm and songs, and being comfortable on stage through pretending and being comfortable with themselves! This group meets for 90 minutes each week and rotates every 30 minutes from Dancing, Singing and Performing classes. The culmination of this group is performing in the Bravo Showcase.

For 9-10 year old’s, we use games and instruction to build additional basic skills, focusing on: rhythms, beginning syncopation and basic vowel placements, as well as group singing/blending and exploring partner singing. They'll also build on basic dance steps and timing put together simultaneously with singing, and character development and improvisation. They will participate in the Bravo Showcase at the end of the season and as an opening act at the Forte! Show Choir performances in December.

For 11-12 year old’s, we put all the previous skills together and offer an intensive show choir experience where they spend an hour together focusing on telling a story through their dance and movement, and confidence being on stage and staying in character. They will then focus 30 minutes on building vocal skills through exploring stylistic sound placements, singing while dancing techniques, balance as an ensemble and expand part singing and harmony. They will culminate their experience by performing a "Mini Musical" at the showcase. This will include a minimum of two songs and acting parts. They will also perform one of the songs as part of the opening act for the Forte! Show Choir performances in December.

Inclement weather is unpredictable. If roads/weather prevent safe travel to or from Bravo, it will be cancelled. Announcement of cancellation will be made via Email. You are responsible to check your email on the day of class if there is snow or ice on the roadways. Make-up days cannot be scheduled due to difficulties in building scheduling. No refund can be made for these unplanned cancellations
